Lead Artist
David “Dez” Zambrano (@dezcustomz) is a multidisciplinary artist based in the DMV (Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia), whose work is recognized for its vibrant, thoughtful storytelling. While his artistry spans different forms and mediums, Dez is often sought after for custom projects for professional athletes, entertainers, and sports organizations. His ability to create detailed works using sports products as a canvas combined with his immediate vision and interest in working with the cleat guards, blended seamlessly with Hypsole’s commitment to aesthetic and thoughtful design.
Supporting Artist
Lloyd "Swaggy" Ferguson (@swaggypicasso) is an emerging artist from and based in the DMV area with a growing reputation in the customization space. Since he began working with Dez in the spring of 2024, his work has been featured in numerous major customization projects, including custom footwear jobs for stars like Steph Curry and Justin Timberlake. His contributions to the Hypsole x Dez Customz collaboration included support with art strategy, prepping of the cleat guards for the final mural, installation assembly and disassembly, and custom finishes.
